What's happening?
Your Chastity Lockbox is trying to unlock, but it's having trouble confirming that the lock is disengaged. This could happen when you:
- End a lock session
- Finish a lock timer session
- Request unlocking from the web dashboard
- Try to unlock the device manually
What does this mean?
The device uses three sensors (we call them TMRs) to check if the locking paddle is in the correct position. When all three sensors show that the paddle is in the unlocked position, we know the device is open and accessible. Right now, one or more of these sensors isn't detecting the unlocked position.
How can I fix this?
- Check the locking paddle:
- Make sure nothing is obstructing the locking paddle.
- Gently move the paddle back and forth to ensure it's not stuck.
- Ensure the lid is on properly:
- The device uses two sensors to detect if the lid is in place.
- Remove the lid and place it back on, making sure it's seated correctly.
- Try unlocking again:
- After checking the paddle and lid, attempt to unlock the device once more.
- Check the power:
- Ensure your device has sufficient battery power or is properly connected to a power source.
- Low power can sometimes affect the unlocking mechanism.
- If the problem persists:
- There might be an issue with the unlocking mechanism or sensors.
- Please contact our support team for further assistance.
