Connect OSSM to Wi-Fi
Connect OSSM to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with the web controller or RADR setup portal and verify the online state.
Wi-Fi enables firmware updates. It is not required for wired local control. You need the network name and password for a 2.4 GHz network.
Option 1: web controller
- Power on and home OSSM.
- Open the OSSM web controller in desktop Chrome or Edge.
- Select Connect, choose the OSSM, and select Pair.
- Open Wi-Fi Settings, enter the network name and password, then select Save & Connect.

Option 2: RADR
- Connect RADR to OSSM, open Settings, and select Wi-Fi Settings.
- Scan the QR code or join the temporary RADR Setup network shown on screen.
- In the setup portal, select Configure Wi-Fi.
- Choose the 2.4 GHz network, enter its password, and save.

Success
The Wi-Fi indicator shows a green status and remains connected after a restart. A yellow status means the network connected but the online service did not; red means no Wi-Fi connection.
If setup fails, confirm 2.4 GHz is enabled, re-enter the password, move closer to the router, and see OSSM troubleshooting.
