Using your Chastity Lockbox

Physical Controls

So you've received your Chastity Lockbox and are wondering how it works. In this guide we'll user certain language to refer to the device's controls and other components. Let's get acquainted with this language:

Use this button to return to the previous menu selection.

Use this button to make a menu selection.

Use this to move between selection options on the device screen.

This allows you to visually interact with the device.

The physical unlock should only be used in emergency situations where a software emergency unlock is unavailable, as its use will irreparably damage the back housing.

Congratulations! You're now an expert on the Chastity Lockbox's physical controls.

Connecting Your Lockbox to WiFi

The Chastity Lockbox is designed to be used in conjunction with the R+D LABS dashboard app. The app gives you access to features such as:

• Partnership & keyholding
• Public voting on locks
• Integration with the Deepthroat Trainer
• Intricate lock settings, including specifics on break times, access to Emergency Unlocks, and more

The Chastity Lockbox is compatible only with 2.4GHz networks.

To connect your device to WiFi, follow the guide below:

Power

Power on your device by clicking the right button

Select "Settings"

Select "WiFi Settings"

Navigate to WiFi settings on your phone or laptop

Select the Lockbox Setup Network

Select "Configure WiFi"

Select your local WiFi network, input your WiFi password, and click save

Your Chastity Lockbox is now connected to WiFi!

Now that your Chastity Lockbox is connected to WiFi, let's pair it with your dashboard account.

Pairing your Chastity Lockbox

To use your Chastity Lockbox in conjunction with your dashboard account, you need to pair your device. There are two ways to pair your device:

Pair via Bluetooth

1. Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser
2. Desktop or laptop computer
3. Chastity Lockbox is powered ON
4. Chastity Lockbox is not currently paired to an account
5. Chastity Lockbox is connected to WiFi
6. A R+D dashboard account

Log in

Log in to your R+D dashboard account

Select "Settings" from the lefthand tab

Select "My Devices"

Select "Add Network"

Enter local WiFi network info and save network

Pair Manually

Manual pairing requirements:

1. Chastity Lockbox is connected to WiFi
2. Chastity Lockbox is not already paired to another dashboard account

Log in to your R+D dashboard account

Select "Settings" from the lefthand tab

Select "My Devices"

Select "Pair a Lockbox"

Power on your Lockbox and select "Settings"

Select "Pairing"

Your device's unique pairing code is displayed on screen

Enter your pairing code and select "Pair device"

Your Chastity Lockbox is now paired!

Starting a Lock

Terminology

There are many ways to initiate a lock. For clarity, we'll be using some specific chastity-related terminology as we go. Click on a word below for its definition in relation to the Chastity Lockbox:

A lock initiated by you on your device. Self locks can be initiated via device or dashboard. Once initiated, the terms of an active self lock are uneditable.

A lock initiated by your partner on your device. Held locks can only be initiated via the dashboard. Once initiated, only the keyholder can edit the active lock terms.

The person subject to the lock.

The person who has initiated the lock.

The lock session you are presently engaged in as lockee and/or keyholder.

Starting a Lock On-Device

Before proceeding, ensure that the device is closed (back housing is slotted into the grooves of the front housing).

Click the right button to awaken your device from sleep

Select "Lock"

Use the scroll wheel to set the duration of your lock

Click the right button to lock the device

Creating and Editing Lock Sessions

Lock sessions define the conditions of your lock, including aspects like:

• Duration
• Break times
• Visibility

Lock sessions can be created and edited by you and/or your partner if you have given them access to your devices.

You may edit the conditions of your active self lock session while it is active, however these new settings will not apply to the active lock in real time. They will, however, be saved for the future.

If a keyholder edits the conditions of an active lock session, the conditions of the active lock will change in real time. Because a keyholder acts through the account of their partner, any new lock session they create will live on the partner's account and not the keyholder's.

Starting a Self Lock via the Dashboard

To start a left lock via the dashboard you'll need:

1. A computer or phone
2. A R+D dashboard account
3. A Chastity Lockbox that is both paired to your dashboard account and connected to Wifi

Log in to your dashboard account

Select "Chastity Lockbox"

Select "Lock Sessions"

Click the "Lock" button beside the session you want to initiate

Click "Self Lock"

Click "Start lock session"

Starting a Held Lock via the Dashboard

To start a held lock via the dashboard you'll need:

1. A R+D dashboard account
2. A partner whose devices you control

Your partner's Chastity Lockbox must be:

1. Paired to their R+D dashboard account
2. Connected to WiFi

Log in to your R+D dashboard account

Select "Your Account"

Select the account of the user you want to lock

Select "Chastity Lockbox"

Select "Lock Sessions"

Click the "Lock" button beside the session you want to initiate

Click "Start lock session"

Your partner is now locked!

Unlocking in Emergencies

There are three ways to unlock your device in case of emergency:

1. Your active lock is a test lock; or
2. Your active lock was started on-device; or
3. Your active lock was started via the dashboard using a lock session that has the Emergency Unlock feature enabled

1. Awaken your device using the right button
2. Select Emergency Unlock

3. Select Unlock

1. Log in to the R+D dashboard. Your partner's lock will appear on your dashboard homepage
2. Select Unlock

3. Select Yes, end session

1. Locate the cutout on the back housing of your device

2. Position the device so that the cutout faces away from you

3. Place the head of a small flat-head screwdriver into the cutout. Angle the screwdriver slightly down and away from you and push the screwdriver with force. This will break open the cutout
4. Once the cutout is open, angle the head of your screwdriver between the wall of the back housing and the locking paddle
5. Use gentle force on the screwdriver to slide the locking paddle upwards
