Repetition Mode is ideal for developing smooth, repeatable motion. If you’re just getting started, see Quick Start first.
Prerequisites
- Your trainer is paired with your dashboard account. See Pairing your Trainer.
- Your trainer is connected to Wi‑Fi so results upload automatically. See Connect to Wi‑Fi.
- You’ve selected a toy and completed calibration (if required for your firmware stream).
How Repetition Mode works
- A moving target on your display guides depth and pace.
- You insert to match the target depth, then withdraw to the start position.
- Each insert/withdraw cycle counts as one repetition.
- Accuracy is calculated from how closely your movement matches the target over time.
Run a repetition session
Choose or create a template
From the dashboard, open a training template configured for Repetition Mode. You can also browse community templates under Shareable Templates.
Set targets (speed, depth, reps)
Pick a comfortable speed and depth target, then set your repetition count. If your plan calls for progression, increase one variable at a time between sets.
Prepare and calibrate
Attach your toy securely. If calibration is available, run it now so the trainer knows the toy tip position and your current comfortable depth.
Start training and follow the target
Begin the session. Insert to the indicated depth in sync with the on‑screen cue, then withdraw to the start position. Keep your motion smooth and consistent.
You’re on track when the target stays green and your accuracy indicator remains high.
Finish and review your results
When you complete the set, your grade and points upload to the dashboard. See Checking Your Results to review trends and leaderboard placement.
Scoring and points
Every repetition contributes to your score. When you maintain high accuracy, your points increase quickly.- Scoring formula for points:
repetitions × 2 × accuracy - Visit Points for examples and how other modes compare.
On‑device you’ll see a grade based on how long you stayed “in the zone.” The dashboard converts performance into points for leaderboards and comparisons.
Best practices
- Breathe steadily and match the target before increasing speed or depth.
- Use shorter sets (8–12 reps) with brief rests to maintain form.
- If your accuracy drops, reduce speed or depth and rebuild consistency.
- Consider enabling Hands‑Free Mode in the template if available to minimize button presses during longer sessions. See FAQs.

What the demo covers
What the demo covers
- Turning on Repetition Mode from the dashboard
- Running a quick calibration to detect toy tip and comfortable depth
- Performing a set at a steady target speed while tracking accuracy
- Uploading results and viewing your grade on the dashboard
Suggested starter settings
Suggested starter settings
- Speed: 35–50 mm/s
- Depth: Shallow to moderate based on your comfort
- Reps per set: 8–12
Troubleshooting
The target freezes or slows unexpectedly
The target freezes or slows unexpectedly
This indicates you’re out of sync. Reduce your speed slightly and focus on matching the target depth before increasing pace.

You may be on the beta firmware where calibration is handled in the cloud. Check the current status in Software 2.0.0 Beta Preview and proceed with the default calibration if prompted.
