Choose a voting link and set up Dashboard voting for a Chaster-linked session.

For required visits, visitor sign-in, or random time changes, use Chaster Share links.
Dashboard votes do not count as Chaster visits
A Dashboard vote can change Chaster's time, but it does not count toward required Share links visits.
Enable Dashboard voting
Check the current session
As of October 7, 2026, new sessions created from Chaster start with Dashboard voting off. Existing sessions keep their setting. A saved template's voting switch does not enable voting on an imported session.
- On the Lockbox page, open the current session's actions menu and select Modify session.
- Turn on Enable public voting on lock duration and select the settings button beside it.
- Set the Increase Time Unit and Decrease Time Unit. The form's minimum is 15 minutes per unit. Review the minimum and maximum voting duration.
- Choose whether to turn on Show in Public Links for a public directory listing.
- Save. Return to the session's actions menu, select Copy public voting link, and share it.
No Modify session option?
Full editing is available to an R+D session keyholder, or for a test or pending session. A normal active-session wearer may only have add-time controls.
An unlisted link can still be shared
Leaving Show in Public Links off hides the directory listing. Anyone with the direct link can still vote while Dashboard public voting is on.
Turn voting off
In Modify session, turn off Enable public voting on lock duration and save. This restricts ordinary public access. Hiding the directory listing alone does not stop direct-link voting.
To change Chaster voting, edit its Share links extension separately.
If a vote does not work

| You are voting on your own session | The signed-in owner cannot vote on their own lock. |
| You already voted | Wait until the voting page allows another vote. |
| A duration limit is reached | Review the minimum and maximum voting duration. |
| A downvote fails during an opening | A vote cannot move the deadline before that opening ends. |
| Native-app downvotes are unavailable | The reviewed native app disables downvotes for Chaster-linked sessions. Website controls differ; Chaster may still reject a time change. |
| A sync error appears | Check both deadlines before retrying. Dashboard may already have recorded the vote and changed its deadline. |
Zero does not confirm the drawer is open
Chaster's other unlock conditions still apply. Finish through the available Chaster controls and confirm that the drawer opens.
Optional how votes sync
Dashboard sends a time adjustment to Chaster, not a Share links vote. Chaster Share links votes can also change the Dashboard deadline, but appear there as session edits. Each system keeps its own voting totals.
Pull from Chaster does not copy the voting switch or vote sizes. Configure each system separately.
