If your Chastity Lockbox or Deepthroat Trainer isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi, use this guide to diagnose and resolve the issue.
R+D devices require a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. They are not compatible with 5GHz connections.
Place the device next to your router while troubleshooting. This eliminates weak signal strength as a potential cause.

Understanding Lockbox Wi-Fi indicators

The Chastity Lockbox displays its connection status through a Wi-Fi icon and a colored circle. Use the following guide to interpret what your device is telling you.

Wi-Fi icon states

Icon stateMeaning
Wi-Fi icon offDevice is not connected to Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi icon on (no line through it)Device may be connected—check the colored circle for details

Status circle colors

Lockbox display showing Wi-Fi icon off
The device has no Wi-Fi connection. Proceed to the troubleshooting steps below.
Lockbox display showing red status circle
The device is connected to your Wi-Fi network but cannot reach the internet. Your router may have connectivity issues, or the network may be blocking the device.
Lockbox display showing yellow status circle
The device is online but hasn’t logged into the dashboard yet. If the yellow circle is flashing, wait a moment for it to connect. If it persists, proceed to troubleshooting.
Lockbox display showing green status circle
The device is fully connected and logged into the dashboard. No action needed.

Troubleshooting steps

If your device isn’t showing a green circle, work through these steps in order.
1

Restart your router

Power cycle your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. Once it’s fully restarted, reconnect your device to the 2.4GHz network.
2

Verify your Wi-Fi password

Connect another device (like your phone) to the same 2.4GHz network to confirm the password is correct and the network is functioning.
3

Test your internet connection

Ensure other devices on your network can access the internet. If they can’t, the issue is with your network, not your R+D device.
4

Try an alternative network

Connect your device to a different Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot. If it connects successfully, the issue is with your original network configuration.
