Quick Start
Welcome to Chastity LockBox! The LockBox is a smart keyholding device that simplifies
self-keyholding and remote play with a partner.
Setting up Wi-Fi
The lockbox is most fun when connected to your online dashboard at dashboard.researchanddesire.com
Navigate to the Wi-Fi setup menu and use your phone to connect to the device and configure your network setup. The LockBox requires a 2.4GHz connection!
Lock (offline capable)
You can lock the box any time with or without WiFi connection by selecting “Lock”. Then set the duration of lock session.
Lock Forever (online only)
Lock Forever will lock the device and only the preconfigured online settings will dictate when it can be unlocked! Be careful you don’t end up stuck in chastity forever 😉.
Sleep
Sleeping will put your device into a low power mode in case you need to use it with battery only. In sleep, the battery can last several days while continuing to track your lock timer without internet connection.
Reminders!
Chastity is fun! But make sure you know how your body responds, and practice good hygiene so you can stay locked longer! 😉
Always know your backup release method in case you need a key urgently and can’t access the LockBox.
The LockBox does have an access port in the bottom you can break open with a screwdriver in case of device failure, power loss, etc. Replacements can be purchased.
Unlocking Your Device
Device will unlock only when the timer expires or keyholder unlocks it in the dashboard! Keyholder can unlock it at any time regardless of lock timer status.
Emergency Unlocking
Software
In case of emergency, the LockBox can be unlocked by holding the lock button for 2 seconds and selecting emergency unlock. If you use the emergency unlock, the device cannot be used for 24 hours!
Hardware
The LockBox can also be unlocked with the access port at the back of the device in case of device failure or power loss. Insert a screwdriver into the hole and break the bottom piece off. Replacements for the back can be purchased separately.
Troubleshooting
Wi-Fi
If you are having issues connecting:
Try moving closer to your router.
Make sure your network is 2.4GHz
Try connecting another device to verify password is correct
Hard Reset
You can hold both buttons for 5 seconds at any time to hard reset your device.
