Connectivity Questions
Diagnose 2.4 GHz setup, captive portals, offline playback, server reachability, and missing results.
Which Wi-Fi does the Trainer use?
The documented setup supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Use Wi-Fi setup and select a 2.4 GHz network.
Why does Trainer Setup say “no internet”?
It is a temporary local configuration network, not an internet connection. Stay connected and open http://192.168.4.1 if the portal does not appear.
Why can it join Wi-Fi but still show E-DTT-1?
The local connection succeeded but the online health check did not. Router filtering, client isolation, captive login, DNS, firewall, or upstream connectivity may be involved. Follow E-DTT-1 and use a phone hotspot only as a diagnostic comparison.
What works offline?
Available documentation and device messages support playback from previously downloaded settings and on-device feedback. Exact compatibility depends on firmware. New settings, confirmed result persistence, and online updates require connectivity.
Will an offline result upload later?
Do not rely on it. Server code persists results only when a completion request arrives, and the firmware implementation is not present in this checkout. Queue durability, capacity, retention, retry schedule, and version applicability are therefore unknown. See Offline mode.
How do I test before an offline session?
While online, activate the intended template, let the Trainer fetch it, verify the toy and segment summary, then perform a controlled offline check. Treat that check as non-recorded and return online for any session whose result matters.
