How it works
Matches and ranks
- Matches are competitive groups of 30 players
- Your goal is to outscore others within your Rank tier
- Ranks range from Bronze (entry level) to Diamond (top tier)
- You advance through ranks by earning points
Rank progression
Your position at the end of each competition determines whether you move up, stay, or drop down. Here’s how many players advance from each rank:| Rank | Promotion Zone | Demotion Zone |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Top 20 | None |
| Silver | Top 15 | 25th - 30th |
| Gold | Top 10 | 25th - 30th |
| Sapphire | Top 7 | 25th - 30th |
| Ruby | Top 7 | 25th - 30th |
| Emerald | Top 7 | 25th - 30th |
| Amethyst | Top 7 | 25th - 30th |
| Pearl | Top 7 | 25th - 30th |
| Obsidian | Top 5 | 25th - 30th |
| Diamond | Top 5 | 25th - 30th |
Bronze is the entry rank—you can’t be demoted below it. However, finishing in the bottom positions at any other rank will drop you down one tier.
Competition schedule
- New competitions begin every Sunday at midnight GMT
- You join a match automatically when you earn points
- If you’re among the first to join, you’ll be placed in an open match that fills as others participate
