How do I tell if my Chastity Lockbox is Online or Offline?

0:00 In this video I'll answer the question, how do I know if my device is online? Here in the dashboard I'm logged into an account that has a lockbox paired to it. 0:11 You can check this in the settings devices page. I've gone to the Chastity lockbox home page, where I can see this offline online indicator. 0:20 Right now, as you can see in the bottom left, my device is offline. Let me expand that, because it's in sleep mode and not connected to the internet. 0:31 What I'm going to do shortly is I'm going to turn on this device, and then I'm going to wait for Wi-Fi to connect. 0:37 And finally, I'll watch the status indicator to determine if it's connected to the dashboard. The status indicator is below the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom left. 0:48 It's over. It's little green or yellow flashing dot. Once that is turned solid green, I will be both online and connected to the dashboard. 0:58 Let's go ahead and do that now. I'm going to power on my device, wake it up from sleep. You'll see that Wi-Fi is connected. 1:06 And I have a yellow flashing dot in the top right, which has just turned solid green. And if I hang out here on the dashboard page for a second, it might take up to a minute for the dashboard to sync. 1:18 No refresh is needed. However, you can refresh if you believe it's required. And within approximately 30 seconds, this will change from offline to online. 1:31 Perfect. There it is. So if you see the green status indicator, below the Wi-Fi icon, that means you are connected to the internet and also online, logged into the dashboard. 1:44 Your device is ready to receive settings. You can also look at this indicator here, but because there's a bit of lag on it, I would always trust the indicator in the top right, which I'll just point to again. 1:58 Trust this indicator right here.
