Your Chastity Lockbox uses a hierarchical menu system for navigation. This guide documents all menus, their options, and how to navigate between them.
Navigation basics
- Rotate encoder: Move between menu options
- Press Enter: Select the highlighted option
- Press Back: Return to previous menu or screen
The currently selected option is highlighted on screen. Options scroll as you turn the encoder past the visible items.
Main menu
The main menu appears when your device is unlocked and ready for use.

Lock
Opens the timer configuration screen where you can set a duration from 30 seconds to 1000 years. See Timer Duration Limits for details.
Lock Forever
Displays a confirmation screen before engaging permalock mode. The device locks indefinitely until your keyholder unlocks it or you use emergency unlock. See Permalock Mode.
Settings
Opens the settings submenu for device configuration.
Sleep
Displays a confirmation screen before entering manual deep sleep. In deep sleep, WiFi disconnects and the device uses minimal power.
Access from Main Menu → Settings.

WiFi Settings
Opens the WiFi configuration portal. A QR code appears on screen that you can scan with your phone to connect to the device’s setup network and enter your WiFi credentials.
Pairing
Displays your 6-character pairing code and a QR code for quick dashboard pairing. Requires WiFi connection.
If WiFi is not connected when you select Pairing, you’ll be prompted to set up WiFi first.
Update Device
Checks for available firmware updates. If an update is found, it downloads and installs automatically. Requires WiFi connection.
Enrol in Alpha
Joins the alpha update channel to receive early-access firmware before general release. The device restarts after enrolling.
Alpha firmware is tested but may contain experimental features. You can unenroll by reflashing standard firmware.
Restart Device
Immediately restarts the device. Lock state is preserved through restarts.
When your device is locked (timed or permanent), press the Enter button to open the lock menu. The available options depend on your session settings configured by your keyholder.
When all options are enabled:

If Emergency Unlock is disabled
The Emergency Unlock option is hidden. The only ways to unlock are:
- Wait for timer to expire (timed locks)
- Keyholder unlocks remotely
- Physical backplate emergency unlock
If Breaks are not enabled
The Take A Break option is hidden. You cannot take breaks during this lock session.

Confirmation screens
Several actions require confirmation before proceeding:
Lock Forever confirmation
Displays warning text and a QR code linking to documentation. Options:
- Lock: Confirm and engage permalock
- Back: Cancel and return to main menu
Sleep confirmation
Displays information about sleep mode effects. Options:
- Sleep: Confirm and enter deep sleep
- Back: Cancel and return to menu
Emergency Unlock confirmation
Displays warning about 24-hour lockout penalty. Options:
- Unlock: Confirm emergency unlock
- Back: Cancel and return to lock menu
Take A Break confirmation
Displays information about break timing. Options:
- Break: Start the break period
- Back: Cancel and return to lock menu
Error screens
Error screens display with a QR code linking to troubleshooting documentation:
