Public voting lets you share your lock session with others, allowing them to vote on whether your remaining lock time should increase or decrease. This adds an element of unpredictability and community interaction to your chastity experience.

Enable public voting

1

Open your lockbox settings

Navigate to your lockbox settings in the dashboard.
2

Enable the public voting option

Toggle on Public Voting for your lock session.
3

Configure time values

Set how votes affect your lock time:
  • Time Plus: Seconds added when someone votes to increase
  • Time Minus: Seconds removed when someone votes to decrease
Consider setting moderate time increments to avoid extreme changes to your lock duration.
Once public voting is enabled for an active lock session:
1

Go to your lockbox page

Open your lockbox page in the dashboard.
2

Find the Public Voting badge

Look for the Public Voting badge with a share icon.
3

View voting activity

You can track all votes on your lock session in two places.

Vote counter badges

On your lockbox page, vote counter badges appear next to your lock session details:
  • 👍 Thumbs Up: Total votes to increase your lock time
  • 👎 Thumbs Down: Total votes to decrease your lock time
These badges only appear when public voting is enabled or when your session has received at least one vote.

Activity history

For detailed vote information:
  1. Navigate to your lockbox page
  2. Find the Session activity section showing recent events
  3. Click View more to open the full activity log
Each vote event displays:
  • Icon: 👍 for increase votes, 👎 for decrease votes
  • Action: “Voted to increase time” or “Voted to decrease time”
  • Voter: Username of the voter (or “Anonymous” if not logged in)
  • Timestamp: When the vote was cast
Vote events appear chronologically alongside other session activities like locks, unlocks, and breaks.

Voting restrictions

To prevent abuse, the following restrictions apply:
  • Each person can vote once every 24 hours on your session
  • Votes are tracked by both IP address and user account

Privacy and anonymity

When someone votes while logged into their account, their username appears in your activity history.
When someone votes without logging in, they appear as “Anonymous” in your activity history.
Your public voting link does not reveal personal information beyond your session details.

Points and rewards

Both you and voters earn points for participation:
ParticipantReward
YouEarn points when people vote on your session
VotersEarn points when they vote on sessions
Point values decrease throughout the day as more votes are cast, encouraging early participation.

Tips for engagement
