Permalock mode (also called “Lock Forever”) is an advanced option for the Chastity Lockbox. When you turn it on, all time-based restrictions, counters, and scheduled breaks are removed—leaving release entirely in your Keyholder’s control.
Lock Forever is an online-only mode. Before using it, connect your device to Wi‑Fi and pair it to your dashboard. See Quick Start for setup basics.

How it works

When you activate Permalock mode, the Lockbox engages its locking mechanism indefinitely. The device stays locked until one of the following happens:
  1. Your Keyholder remotely unlocks the device
  2. You use the Emergency Unlock feature
  3. The lock is abandoned from the dashboard
There is no preset time limit in this mode. The device does not automatically unlock, and no scheduled breaks or intermissions are provided.
Dashboard abandonment is a Keyholder-only action. Self-locks cannot be abandoned. See FAQs.

Use Permalock mode only after you and your Keyholder agree on responsibilities and emergency procedures.

Confirm how Emergency Unlock works and when it’s appropriate to use. Share the Emergency Unlock article with your Keyholder.

Monitor your health

Regularly check for pain, circulation issues, numbness, or other concerns throughout the lock period.
You can disable Emergency Unlock from the dashboard while the device is unlocked. If you disable it and later need urgent access, your only option without your Keyholder is the physical backplate break. Learn how in Emergency Unlock: Break the Backplate.

Recommendations for new users

Build up to Permalock mode gradually:
  • Start with shorter, timed locks to build trust and experience with your Keyholder
  • Use regular timed locks for most play scenarios
  • Reserve Permalock mode for special occasions or after you’ve gained significant experience
