Permalock mode (also called “Lock Forever”) is an advanced feature for users seeking the most intense experience. When activated, all time-based restrictions, counters, and scheduled breaks are disabled—leaving you entirely dependent on your Keyholder for release.

How it works

When you activate Permalock mode, the Lockbox engages its locking mechanism indefinitely. The device remains locked until one of the following occurs:
  1. Your Keyholder remotely unlocks the device
  2. You use the emergency unlock feature
  3. The lock is abandoned through the dashboard
There is no preset time limit in this mode. The device will not automatically unlock, and no scheduled breaks or intermissions are provided.

Safety and communication

While Permalock mode offers an extreme level of play, safety must remain the priority.

Establish clear communication

Have an open conversation with your Keyholder before engaging this mode. Ensure both parties understand the implications and responsibilities involved.

Agree on a safe word or signal

Establish a predetermined safe word or signal that indicates genuine distress—separate from playful resistance.

Monitor for health concerns

Regularly check for any signs of discomfort, circulation issues, or other health concerns throughout the lock period.

Recommendations for new users

Due to the intense nature of Permalock mode, we strongly recommend building up to it gradually:
  • Start with timed locks to build trust and experience with your Keyholder
  • Use regular timed locks for most play scenarios
  • Reserve Permalock mode for special occasions or after you’ve gained significant experience
