Symbols on the Lockbox
What do all the symbols on the lockbox mean?

The header bar of the Lockbox shows several symbols which indicate the state of your lockbox. Here's exactly what each of those symbols means.
From left to right the icons are:
The Lock Icon
This indicates if your device is currently locked, and the status indicator tells you if the backplate is on. For more details see here Lock Icon
The Wi-Fi Icon
This indicates if you're device is currently connected to a Wi-Fi network. The status idicator tells you if you're also connected to our dashboard and ready to play. More details can be found here Wi-Fi Icon
The Battery Icon
This icon will show you the current battery level of your device. It will also show you if you're currently charging your device. There is no status indicator on this icon. More details can be found here Battery Icon
Lock Icon
The lock icon shows you the current status of the sensors on your device. This icon does not indicate anything about your active play session.
Locked

When you see this symbol it means that the locking mechanism is in the "locked state". This means that your device's sensors has detected that it is locked and cannot be opened.
Unlocked

Likewise, the unlocked symbol means that the sensors on the device have detected the lock is open and you can access the contents of the box.
Backplate On

In the bottom left of your Lock Icon you can see a small status indicator. When this status indicator is green this means that the sensors on your device have detected the backplate is in position, and that we're ready to lock. If can be shown for Locked or Unlocked states.
Backplate Off

If the status indicator for the Lock Icon is solid yellow, then this means that the sensors of the device have determined that the backplate is currently off. Attempting to lock in this state will fail.
Wi-Fi Icon
Wi-Fi Not Connected

This symbol indicates that your device is not connected to Wi-Fi at all. This might be the case if:
Your lockbox is brand new and you have not connected your Lockbox to Wi-Fi ever
You have connected your lockbox to Wi-Fi but you're now out of range of that network
In both of these cases you'll need to configure Wi-Fi as described in this guide Step 1: Connect your Lockbox to Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Connected

If you see this symbol, then great news! You are connected to Wi-Fi correctly! This means that your device can make requests to the internet.
But to receive commands you'll need to pair your device and connect it to the dashboard. For help with that, please follow this guide Step 2: Pair your Lockbox to your account
You can always tell if your device is ready to receive commands by looking at the status indicator to the bottom left of the Wi-Fi icon.
Status Indicator: Flashing Yellow

If you are connected to Wi-Fi and your status indicator is flashing yellow, then your device is connected to the internet but it is not connected to the dashboard. This means that your device is not ready to receive commands from the dashboard.
This can occur if your device has not been paired to the dashboard, if that's the case, then please follow this guide: Step 2: Pair your Lockbox to your account.
This can also occur if your device has recently been powered on, and it attempting to access our network. Typically this takes 15-30 seconds, however it can take up to 2 minutes to establish a stable connection (depending on where you are in the world. Sorry Antarctica ❄️)
If you have waited two minutes and you're still seeing the yellow flashing dot, then please contact support, as this might indicate a problem with our server.

If you are connected to Wi-Fi and your status indicator is solid and green, then this indicates that you're online, and connected to the dashboard. Your device is ready to receive commands instantly! Have fun!
