Sleep Mode
Understanding Sleep Modes
Your Chastity Lockbox has two types of sleep modes to help conserve battery life:
Automatic Sleep
Deep Sleep (Manual activation required)
Automatic Sleep
This mode activates automatically to save power during short periods of inactivity:
The screen will dim or turn off
Some non-essential functions may be temporarily disabled
WiFi remains connected, allowing communication with keyholders
Suitable for short power breaks (e.g., commuting to and from work)
Deep Sleep
This mode offers maximum power saving but requires manual activation:
Activated by selecting 'SLEEP' from the menu and confirming with a long press on the enter button
Turns off the screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, and most sensors
The device maintains its locked/unlocked state
WiFi and remote communication are disabled
Wake up by pressing the left (back) button
When to Use Deep Sleep
Use Deep Sleep only when you need to conserve power for extended periods, such as:
During long trips where you might need to unlock midway
When you won't have access to a power source for an extended time
Important Notes
Deep Sleep is optional and must be activated manually
When using Deep Sleep, you won't receive updates or commands from keyholders
For regular daily use, the automatic sleep mode is usually sufficient
We recommend keeping your device plugged in when at home
Remember: Deep Sleep should only be used when necessary. In most cases, the automatic power-saving features will be enough to maintain your device's battery life while keeping you connected.
